Located in the north of Pau, near the hospital, the library offers books, e-reading devices, films, newspapers, Cds or public domain music from the kiosk for all ages,, in a bright and open area of 900 m2. The library also houses the Illiteracy and French as a Foreign Language Centre (CLAP CRI).Seven computers are available, two of them in individual rooms.
A place of discovery and exchange through various activities, workshops, concerts and exhibitions which are all free.

Located in the former tram factory, the library houses ancient books and manuscripts such as the psalms of Henri IV, works of Buffon and other naturalists from the 18th century, the Mercator Atlas, and many works of 19th century pyreneists . Amazement, passion and availability are offered.

Located near the secondary school, the library is open from monday to Saturday and welcomes you in a warm and friendly space. Housing an important local collection, it regularly organises reading sessions for the youth as well as literary and cinema events.
